Montfiesta 9

Went for my secondary's sch band concert on the 16th of June. This years theme was related to Broadway... so songs like "Phantom of the Opera", "The Music Man" and "The Sound of Music" were played. Congrats to all montfortian band members for the successful concert!!!

woke up at 11pm... slept for 16 hours!!! I've juz broken my record!!! woo-hoo!!! Ate lunch and had to head back to Montfort to coach band for their concert this fri... um... tmr... lol...

reached there at abt 1.35pm... and they had full dress rehersal... sooo cool!! i like full dresses..!!! the theme for this year is broadway...so u can experience songs like phantom of the opera those kind of thingys... yar...

slacked there all the way and they had promotion for the sec 4's as after monfiesta they would have to leave the band...yar...so ....thats that....

i'm so damn tired...juz finished writing an ESSAY...(scroll down for details... )

Nitez!!!

back frm band camp which was frm mon - tues (5.30pm) blogging onli now cos i slept IMMEDITAELY after i reached home! Was so damn tired lah~ fell asleep like less than 5 min after lying on my bed...

Band camp was grt fun... i was like one of the first freshies to reach the band room and had to wait for the rest to come...

first game we had to play was to pick out a "mortal" (a person hu we had to take care of 'secretly' ) and we had to treat him/her nicely without him/her knowing he their "angel"(us) were... thomas gt my name frm someone else but immediately told me he gt my name...wth

was then out to play the 2nd game which included the whole band... we were supposed to listen to a person's 'orders' and place body parts on a certain colour on a certain person, be it the shirt, pants, or even shoes! So everyone was like squeezing here and there finding the colours on ppl... damn funni...!!! LoL!!! =D

3rd game... its smth like scissors, paper, stone but they had it changed to dwarf, giant and wizard... kinda hard to adapt and we even had to make the whole row ( there were two ) make the same action... was quite boring lah this game... =x

4th game... um.... everyone sits in a circle and a cat and mouse would b chosen and blindfolded...then they would have to listen to guidance frm the other band members to, for the cat to catch the mouse and the mouse to escape frm the cat.... but this game abit lame ar.... the cat would SURELY win wad... haiyox!

headed back into band room to gt ready for sectionals... played pieces like persis, song frm the states, the incredibles, jessie's well and....wad was the last one...? =P

had sectionals with the tuba's... hu entirely covered the sound of my bassoon by their blasting...or was it meant to chase away the kois? LoL! Tubist's are all crappy ppl... think i gt 'infected' by them too.... -bleah-

after that was lunch... went eating wif sim and thomas...that time still nt that close wif anyone, so decided to stay wif 'old' friends... so unsocialble rite?!....tsk tsk tsk....

after lunch was main band... then it was time for the 4th game! WET GAMES!!! we went into our groupings and played scissors, paper, stone wif other grps and the person hu lost would b splashed wif water... too common.... r the committee realli running out of ideas?! but it was still rather fun as the water woke us all up... plus the wind made us all cold... dammit! the 2nd water game we played made me use my 6 months of plastic bag tying skills to use... we were supposed to tie water bombs and throw them into the opponents pail...the grp wif the lesser water wins...and in the end, we WON!!! woo-hoo!!!

after that we were all supposed to bathe and the three of us went to the sport complex to bathe...was damn 'shiok'! The water is damn nice and the pressure is juz right!! Didn't even wanted to come out! After having the bath, we were supposed to go back for band... but sim and was hungry, so we decided to go over to design sch to eat... but all the stalls were closed...so we drank water and sim and i ate those baby biscuits... but we were sooo damn full after that... ( btw, dinner would b like 9.15pm!!! )

went back for main band and conductor came...conductor...haiz~ crazy guy hu is full of expressions...likes to act...wasting his 'talents' on us...he shld go join some drama club! =x

after that was finally dinner... was actually supposed to go watch world cup, japan vs australia... but could nt find a kopitiam to watch... so went to mcdonalds instead... headed back to sch after eating...so damn full....felt like puking... ~BURP!~

after reaching sch, everyone prepared for movie mania... so brought jackets all the way to design sch... was expecting to watch some *ahem* kind of show but appeared to be a show regarding music... gt sian halfway through so went out to buy a drink wif sim and thomas... the LT was like so damn stuffy lor!! outside was much much more cooler!!!

went back after buying drink but felt it was 'better' to stay outside...so called 'bookworm' hanna (is this how to spell yr name?) out to read her bk...she could read it ANYWHERE... and when i sae ANYWHERE, i mean ANYWHERE... lol... =D

but soon after we went out, the whole sax section all came 'flowing' out of the LT...thats where WE started mixing around and making NEW friends...! Yay!

ok...here's the list of saxs'... hanna aka bookworm, joleen, yani, eden and lastly... deborah ( bleah! put yr name last!!! wahahaa!!! )... wasn't that fimiliar wif their sl... so.....yar...hahaa =x

So apparently, now the sax section and the bassoon section have became ONE!!! lol

so tok and played, take photo all the way till the show ended... around 1am... izzit?! then made milo using the xtra hot water the comm brought... but as it was TOO HOT, went over to design sch canteen to take some of their water cooler' water... my milo turned out to taste perfect...but um...as for deborah...her's was...um...diluted... wahahahaa!!!

after that went back to band room wif the saxs' and had took our belongings to our rooms... wanted to share a room wif the gals frm the saxs' but main comm dun allow... WHY?! ( dun think negative thoughts... -cough-) so we went to our own BOY'S room to place our things... :'(

As we didn't want to slp so 'early', went outside and realised they had a "msn conference" so "signed in" and deborah was like there toking abt the ever so famous gay couple... which i think no one cared!!! LoL!!!

Then decided it was way too hot to b sitting there so we all "signed out" and went for a walk... walk up and down scaring the girls about 'xiao ming' in design sch and went to the outdoor auditorium which is said oso to b haunted...but i found it rather beautiful... =p

settled down in the middle of no where and started to scare the girls again while playing stupid songs frm our handphones... then switching of out HP no... then yani, joleen and hanna left early...they said they were sleepy... so let them go... but we soon left in a while too after deborah jumped at the sight of a cricket... yeesh!

went back, found out that the gals were nt asleep yt so went into their room and chatted but decided to go back to the boy's room and we ate chips in there... (supposed to eat them while watching the movie...) then the guys started crapping in the room and continued to listen to funni ringtomes on one anothers phones... even setted one for our alarm! lol... was abt to slp when eden received a msg frm deborah asking ifwe could go out to keep her company as she couldn't slp... so went out and ended up sleeping on the bench... there were eden and joleen, lying on each other... so romantic... and deborah and me lying on separate benches... after that, deborah woke me up frm mt beauty slp and i reaturned to my rm to slp... onli to realise that thomas had 'stolen' me jacket for his own use! argh!! had to shiver the whole night through... bbbrrrr!!!

~*SECOND DAY*~

woke up at 7am due to 'freezing weather' and shivered out of bed and decided to take a hot bath... so went wif some of the girls... ( they woke up EARLIER than me ) and went to take a warm bath along wif eden too... so shiok again... aahhh...!!!

after that was breakfast...we had like milo again and we had to make our own bread... didn't eat bread but had a nice warm cup of milo... was still like shivering at that time too.... band room was also very cold.... but deborah used my jacket... so had to 'act' abit lah... LoL =x

sectionals started earlier than scheduled and so had an early lunch thanks to hanna shouting "wah... i very hungry leh..."... so loudly that everyone was staring at her!!! LoL!!! you go girl!! hahahaa~~

so went over to design to eat wif the saxs' and after headed back to band rm for main band... lasted all the way till abt 5+pm and debrief... then go home... -yawn!-

reached home at 6.30pm ... fell asleep immediately at 6.55pm... was so damn tired...

went to J8 to shop wif parents but chanced upon rainies's autography concert...so abandoned parents to see rainie!!!

I saw starz todae... so happi....!!!
